debian-logo1Finally Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 released, with code name Lenny, You can see here for the release page. Its needed 22 months of constant development as you can read in that page, woww.., it’s make a sense for me why this Debian operating system is a very good distro, especially for computer server. As a free operating system Debian supports a total of twelve processor architectures and includes the KDE, GNOME, Xfce, and LXDE desktop environments and of course good support from community and documentations.

Actually i didn’t a Debian user, I’m using ubuntu for my personal desktop beside Windows XP (i’m using dual boot..), but as you know they are closely related, because of Ubuntu itself is build on foundation of Debian architecture. Even i didn’t used it for my personal desktop, I’m very familiar with this Debian operating system, we are used it for learning networking administration in college :) . Hmmm.. i think i will try this new Lenny.. if i have a good time of course.. :) , beside that i’m still in love with my Intrepid Ibex Ubuntu 8.10 :D .
